I wrote and produced Together Apart in March 2020 when I was packing up to move back home after my college made the switch to online learning. My professor had asked me to write a song about “togetherness” and this assignment hit me hard because I felt scared and alone. It’s the first song I ever released, and I hoped that by putting it out into the world, it would help others feel less alone.
